I just recently bought this game and get a consistent crash when allowing the chief to grope you at the beginning of the game. I believe this is because it is trying to trigger a steam achievement but the game is obviously not being run on steam. Is there a fix for this?
Hi Phaerie, thank you for highlighting this and I apologize for the issue. You may have to skip that quest first as I will attempt to recompile the game without the steam achievements. This may take a week or so. Alternatively, let me know if you'd like to swap to the steam version, I will mail you the retail key.
One more! There's a shady looking person in Evendale that I cannot initiate dialogue with. I think this is the person that would have the Grease Oil for a quest. If this isn't that person, can you clarify where I can find the Grease Oil?
The slave scene where the only thing you can do is move boxes also seems to be broken. I did the tedious (and unsexy!) task of moving them into the spots. The game doesn't seem to recognize that as a completed task. Not sure if this is intentional but not sure what to do.
due to the native scripting - when the boxes are in the area, you sort of have to touch or push it again and hear a ding sound to count as completing the transport. Let me know if this resolves your issue.

On the trip from Lodeen to Evendale, I had the text speed set to Instant. This seemed to throw off some cues, and the ship got stuck below one of the islands.
there had been many complaints on the ship scene. Recommend that you rerun the scene when normal text so there wont be any issues. The fast speed txt screws up the scripts timing.
